Another Berlin Story: Art dinner and artist talk with The Columbist

An exclusive gathering hosted by The Columbist, bringing together contemporary art, cultural dialogue, and fine dining at Cookies Cream Berlin.

Ahead of Berlin Art Week 2026, The Columbist, a Berlin-based editorial publication, hosted the second edition of ANOTHER BERLIN STORY at Cookies Cream, the city's renowned Michelin-starred restaurant. The intimate art dinner brought together 30 selected guests from the worlds of art, culture, and media, with contemporary artist Ivan Gette as the evening's featured guest.

Surrounded by a selection of Gette’s abstract paintings, guests enjoyed a three-course dinner curated by chef Patrick Ziegert, creating a distinctive setting for artistic exchange and meaningful conversations.

At the heart of the evening was an artist talk between Ivan Gette and Elena Kaplyar-Balzer, Editor-in-Chief of The Columbist. Their conversation explored Gette’s artistic journey and the philosophy behind TUTTO PASSA, his exhibition presented in collaboration with AK Galerie during Berlin Art Week. The discussion offered an intimate perspective on his creative process, the passage of time, and the relationship between art, memory, and personal experience.
